Insurance and payment Information
I am an out-of-network provider with insurance companies. Some insurance companies will reimburse a portion of the fee that you pay me. You are responsible for paying the full session fee at the time of our appointment and I can provide an itemized receipt (superbill), upon request, which you can submit to your insurance company. If you are interested in exploring your out-of-network benefits, I encourage you to call your insurance company first to find out what your mental health benefits are.
Scheduled appointment times are reserved especially for you. I have what is called a "no cancel policy." If I am able to fill your slot or reschedule with you within the same week you will not be billed the full session fee.
This is all within reason; obviously there is room for either of us to need to cancel, but this is the general policy. Please note that superbills are not given for cancellations or no shows.
Telephone Availability and Emergencies
I return phone calls within 24-48 hours on weekdays (Mondays-Fridays 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM PST).
Please do not use texting unless it is for scheduling on weekdays, email is preferred for scheduling.
In case of emergencies, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you are not in immediate danger but need to speak to someone urgently, please contact the 24-Hour Lifeline at 800.273.8255.
